From the details that you provide us with via our online questionnaire, we will carefully craft a unique and natural set of lyrics, set to the music of your choosing, to create a very special personalised song containing both actual personal information as well your own closest feelings towards that special someone. You may not be able to sing, play an instrument or have access to a recording studio but here at SongForSomeone we give you the unique chance to surprise a loved one by putting your own true feelings to beautiful music in a completely unique gift experience!
The Team...
Jim Littlewood is a published career songwriter & performer whose music has appeared on ITV and Channel 4, as well as on various national and regional UK radio stations such as XFM, Radio 1 and Radio 2. Jim has recorded with several of the UK's top rock and pop producers as well as having worked as a songwriter alongside various leading UK popular music acts. Jim studied classical piano and theory at University and subsequently went on to perform as a session singer and guitarist after graduating in 1998. As a composer, Jim's quest has always been to write memorable and classic sounding songs with moments of real originality and beauty, and to add his own musical mark to the canon of 20th Century songwriting greats that he most admires, such as Richard Rodgers, George Gershwin, Lennon & McCartney, Brian Wilson and Bob Dylan.
Ellie Gray graduated with Distinction from The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), Europe's leading school for rock and pop musicians, in the summer of 2001. She has since then, rapidly built up her portfolio as a professional vocalist and performer in the UK. Ellie is an experienced studio session vocalist: having recorded at many of London's top studios, such as RAK, Sphere, and the Strong Room Studio, alongside a succession of renowned UK bands and producers. Ellie also has vast experience working as a live performer as both a solo artist, as well as backing vocalist for various bands and artists from Bernard Butler to Hazel O'Connor. Ellie continues to work as a private vocal coach, preparing artists for auditions, industry showcases and live concerts.
