What if my online lyric sheet doesn't sound very natural or romantic, or worse still, doesn't make any sense?

Don't worry! The lyric sheet you will see upon completing the questionnaire is there just to give you a first impression of how we will craft your personalised song. We will take great care to ensure that the lyrics and recording will sound as natural and as special as possible from the info you have given us.

How long will I wait before receiving my personalised song? And how much does delivery cost?

Your song will be dispatched to you within 3 working days of us receiving your online order (up to/ incl. orders before 5pm). All orders will be sent out first class Royal Mail free of charge! For orders outside the UK we also offer FREE delivery. For rush orders please contact us directly at order@songforsomeone.com.

What will be the format of my personalised song?

Your song will be sent to you on a customised SongForSomeone audio CD, complete with personalised artwork.

Is it possible for me to customise my song for a male recipient? Can I have my song performed by a female vocalist?

Sure! If the special someone due to receive your song is male, select 'Songs to give to guys' on the homepage. Should you want a female vocalist to perform on the recording, please select 'Female vocals: Ellie', when asked 'Who would you like to sing your song?' in our questionnaire.

What happens if I want to make changes?

After completing the questionnaire, you will see the first draft of your unique SongForSomeone lyric sheet and will be invited to make any desired changes at this point. We encourage you to have a good look at the lyrics at this stage to make sure you are happy with the content of the song, as we won't be able to make any changes once the song has been recorded and sent out!

Will all of the information I provide you with appear in my unique song?

We won't use every piece of info that you give us but will aim to incorporate around half of the details provided by you to craft your personalised song. Certain songs from the list of titles will incorporate certain pieces of information provided by you via the questionnaire. The info that doesn't appear in the final recording is still extremely useful to us, in terms of helping to build a profile of the person for whom the song is about. The more information we have- the more fitting the lyric! What if I'm unhappy with my song? Here at SongForSomeone we take every measure to ensure the satisfaction of our customers. That's why we let you hear the music to your personalised song right away, as well as showing you the first draft of your lyric sheet as soon as you place your order. If upon receiving your unique song you aren't completely happy with the final recording, then just return the CD to us and we will provide you with an alternative song within 5 working days of receiving it. If after your receiving replacement song, you still feel unhappy then we will issue you with a full refund.
